We use a combination of assessment techniques to help us determine your child's speech, language and communication needs, this includes a verbal consultation and a summary report.
If a comprehensive assessment and a detailed report are required i.e.Tribunal, Pathway, EHCP etc. This is charged at an hourly rate of £75 p/h (typically 2hrs). This includes our recommendations, detailed targets and suggested activities plus liaison time.
This is the time spent with the child, parents or teachers. Typically consisting of 35-40mins direct therapy and 20mins of liaison with Parents/teachers and clinical note writing. The fee also includes time spent outside the consultation in the preparation of material and planning.
Therapy sessions are based on initial assessment Findings and used to create relevant, achievable and measurable targets for children, parents and other professionals.
Due to the success of our online Speech and Language Therapy sessions, we are pleased to be able to offer this option to our clients. The length of the session will be dependent on the child’s attention span & ability to access the sessions. We use Skype, FaceTime, Zoom & Teams
Training is available for both professionals and parents (CPD Opportunities, 1:1, group sessions).
The first 15 miles from L31 are included, and £1.00 per mile thereafter.
Emails and telephone calls – £15 per 15 minutes
General correspondence via email or phone is included in your session fee. However, if parents and/or schools request an in-depth update via email or telephone the fee above will apply.
In line with professional guidance, fees reflect not only time spent on face-to-face assessment and treatment, but also time spent on planning and preparation, record keeping, and resourcing, and my commitment to continuing professional development through ongoing reading and training which is also a requirement of the Health Care Professions Council. I aim to ensure my fees are fair, value for money and competitive.
